Featuring the work of sisters Catherine, Meara, and Theresa McTague, “Sister Sister Sister” traces the influence of shared histories across three diverging practices. Spanning disciplines including painting, drawing, and sound, the sisters draw from the same wells for inspiration— exploring themes from the mystical and strange, to the suburban and ordinary. The exhibition serves not as a means of tracing the lineage of the artists’ shared experiences, but rather as a mapping of multiplicities– exploring the many possibilities of what can emerge from a shared point of origin.
